The second and final trailer for an upcoming fan-made Wizarding World film has hit the internet, and it doesn’t disappoint.

Severus Snape and the Marauders is a new tale from the team who brought us another Potter-inspired short film, The Greater Good (about Dumbledore and Grindelwald). In this new one, the Marauders (James, Sirius, Remus, and Lupin) decide to take on Snape in light of his interest in joining the dark side.

“Set in 1978 just after Harry Potter’s father James graduates from Hogwarts, he and his friends Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew celebrate at a bar, contemplating their place in a war they are to soon become a part of,” reads a synopsis. “When Severus Snape enters the same bar, James Potter decides to do something about Snape once and for all.”

A big aspect of the story? Snape’s love for Lily. Our hearts!

As far as fan-made films go, this is as good as it gets — the story and its special effects look great!

This’ll hold us over as we continue to endure the seemingly endless wait for J.K. Rowling to write a Marauders prequel of her own. Hey Jo, does this inspire you to write a Marauders TV series?

The team’s first film has gone on to amass over 3 million views on YouTube, and we expect similar success for Severus Snape. Watch The Greater Good in our previous report.
