In honor of the final season of True Blood, Sesame Street has released a spoof of the steamy HBO vampire drama with a parody called “True Mud” — watch the adorable parody video below!

Sesame Street has finally made its True Blood parody, which aired a few years back, available online for all to enjoy! Complete with a spoof of the True Blood opening credits, Sesame Street‘s “True Mud” features favorite characters like Sookie and Bill in puppet form, only instead of being a vampire who desires blood, puppet Bill is a grouch who stumbles into Merlotte’s desperate for mud.

Enter a puppet version of Sookie Stackhouse who, along with the fellow bar patrons, keeps offering Bill different things that sound like mud in an effort to teach kids at home a lesson about rhyming and words that sound the same.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Sesame Street has spoofed popular television shows. This past October, the show parodied the popular Showtime drama Homeland with a segment called “Homelamb”.

Additionally, the long-running children’s series has also taken a stab at spoofing popular films like The Hunger Games.

The seventh and final season of True Blood airs Sundays at 9 p.m., eastern/10 p.m., pacific on HBO.
