Apple TV+ is putting a lot of faith in its scripted series, renewing four more shows shortly after their premiere, but they’ve given Servant the renewal even before the world has seen it! It’s clear that Apple TV+ has a lot of confidence in their upcoming series, so we can’t wait to see what it has to offer.

The new series should be a treat for fans of the horror genre, because even its synopsis is giving us the chills. The show will follow “a young and troubled couple” who replace their “newborn baby with a lifelike doll after their child dies from health complications.” Yikes!

M. Night Shyamalan (Unbreakable, Split, Glass) serves as an executive producer and director on the series which has been created by Tony Basgallop. Rupert Grint will star as Julian Pearce alongside Lauren Ambrose (The X-Files), Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones), and Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island).

Basgallop and Shyamalan are joined by executive producers Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Todd Black, Taylor Latham and Patrick Markey. The first three episodes of Servant will be released on Apple TV+ on November 28, 2019. Subsequent episodes will be released on Fridays.
