Two episodes of Selfie airs next week! See what’s ahead for Eliza and Henry as they continue to deny their obvious chemistry.
Have you missed Selfie? Because we kind of did! Luckily the show returns next Tuesday with two brand new episodes: season 1, episode 5 “Even Hell Has Two Bars” at 8 p.m., and episode 6 “Never Block Cookies” at 8:30 p.m.
The episode synopsis for “Even Hell Has Two Bars” reads: “Eliza and Henry engage in some questionable behavior while spending the weekend with no cell reception at the estate of their boss Sam Saperstein, who dangles a promotion in both of their face.”
It looks to be a pretty spectacular episode, complete with a fancy horse carriage ride. Is Selfie paying homage to My Fair Lady here?
In the following episode, according to the press release from ABC, “Eliza observes Henry’s constant bad mood and lack of skills with women and becomes determined to get him some action, whether he wants it or not.”
Eliza (Karen Gillan) kind of has a boyfriend in Freddie, after all, so why shouldn’t Henry (John Cho) have a girlfriend?

It’s nice to see both Charmonique and Saperstein in action this week, as both supportive characters are fantastic. And of course Henry and Eliza’s fancy getaway will surely allow the pair to explore their newfound friendship, and to have more bonding moments.
This is quickly becoming one of our favourite will-they-won’t-theys, and we hope the show doesn’t rush it!
The reason for the double episode this week is the cancellation of Manhattan Love Story.
ABC will be airing Selfie season 1, episode 5 and 6 in both the 8 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. timeslots this Tuesday, and in the future, re-runs of Modern Family will be filling Manhattan Love Story‘s spot.
While not renewing Selfie (yet!), the network has offered a token of appreciation for the series, by ordering three additional scripts for its first season.
