Selfie season 1, episode 4 is titled “Nugget of Wisdom.” It airs next Tuesday on ABC.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: “Eliza accepts Henry’s challenge to do something helpful over the weekend and reluctantly offers to babysit Charmonique’s young son on a Saturday night. Little does she know that young Kevin has a lot to teach her about having fun.”

We love Charmonique (Da’Vine Joy Randolph), and can’t wait to see her storyline brought to the forefront! She also seems like the closest thing Eliza has to a friend (other than Henry, of course), and is quick to accept Eliza’s quirky behaviour.
We just hope that Eliza doesn’t mess this up too bad – we could easily see Charmonique’s kid escaping while Eliza is busy on her phone! Luckily, she’ll probably have Henry (John Cho) standing by to ward off any possible disasters… it’s not like he’s got anything better to do, right? And as we’ve seen, he’s developed a bit of a soft spot for her.
And how about Charmonique’s killer outfit? Is she going on a date, or perhaps performing somewhere? After all, Randolph is a Broadway star!
Although the show has been struggling in the ratings, ABC recently announced that it has ordered three additional scripts for the series. This is good news, because now Selfie has three more weeks to get its viewership up. But unless we see a boost, chances for a second season are slim.
