Selfie returns next week with episode 3, in which Eliza and Henry realise that they’ve become BFFs by default.

In Selfie season 1, episode 3, “A Little Yelp From My Friends,” Eliza (Karen Gillan) and Henry (John Cho) come to a surprising realisation about their relationship.

The official synopsis from ABC reads, “Henry and Eliza discover that their most valuable office relationship might be their own after Saperstein mandates his employees to work on their interpersonal connectivity.”

We have David Harewood reprise his role as overly affectionate boss Sam Saperstein, with Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Charmonique and Allyn Rachel as Bryn.

These promotional stills from ABC depict the situation, and you can see Henry in particular struggle to accept that Eliza might just be his closest connection at the office… especially since his friend from the pilot seems to have vanished into thin air:

The b-plot of the episode appears to be Eliza fooling around with the husband of a woman from her gym class, although of course there could be something else going on. See the pictures and judge for yourself:

One of the best things about the show is the development of Henry and Eliza’s relationship. Already in the second episode did the pair realise that they relied on each other, and Henry found himself learning from Eliza as much as she was trying to learn from him.

And the episode also hinted at what “A Little Yelp From My Friends” will establish: that at the office, Henry and Eliza have become each other’s closest ally.

We’re also excited about the return of Sam Saperstein, one of the funniest characters in the pilot!

Selfie season 1, episode 3, “A Little Yelp From My Friends,” airs Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC.
