After Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander were spotted filming what looked like some sort of Seinfeld reunion, our dreams sort of came true during the 2014 Super Bowl.

News of a Seinfeld reunion stayed under wraps (other than when they were spotted filming), though Jerry suggested recently that what they shot was a one-and-done type of project.

In the commercial, we watched as Jerry and George (Jason Alexander) bicker in Tom’s Restaurant – the exterior of which was used during Seinfeld when it aired on NBC. Newman (Wayne Knight) makes a great little cameo.

The promo was for a new episode of Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee web series in which Jerry talks with his fictional friend George Costanza. You can watch the episode below. As usual, the two characters bicker over tiny things… like cheering too much.

We’re surprised Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards weren’t brought back for this. Better luck next time.

Unfortunately, a real Seinfeld reunion will probably never happen. The creator/comedian has been adamant about the fact that the show is finished for good.

Seinfeld’s web series has featured many well-known, real comedians over its three seasons, including Larry David (co-creator of Seinfeld), Tina Fey, Louis C.K., Chris Rock, and David Letterman.

Hypable has been covering the release of several highly-anticipated promos throughout the Super Bowl. Check out new trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Transformers: Age of Extinction.
