Andrea Thome brings the glories of the intimate, nature-focused escape to the wonderful world of romance. Seeds of Intention is delightful escapist fare.

While I love a good romantic suspense story as much as the next person, sometimes you just want a lovely, heart-warming story full of people that admire and respect each other, and are supportive of each other’s dreams. That is exactly what you get with the Hesse Creek series, and Seeds of Intention is a wonderful second chapter in this overarching story.

About ‘Seeds of Intention’

Is it more important to have roots, or wings?

Garrett Oliver has just settled into his job as heir apparent to one of the most renowned master gardeners in the country. After a difficult few years, he’s found a home and a renewed purpose at a famed resort in the secluded Smoky Mountains. The stars seem to be aligning for Garrett as he plans a future with his college sweetheart and envisions a simple life with her in the mountains of East Tennessee.

Willow Armstrong, fresh off a painful breakup, is coming home to Knoxville to care for her ailing father. She finds herself in the right place at the right time, landing a dream job alongside Garrett—as his boss. As they are thrown together by their work, an undeniable magnetism grows between them, despite the fact that Garrett is ready to start a future with someone else. Circumstances persist in drawing them closer, and an unexpected opportunity in Colorado prompts Willow and Garrett to wonder if a life together out west might be beyond anything either of them had dared to imagine.

‘Seeds of Intention’ book review

If you are looking for a story that embraces a sense of community, love, laughter, and a healthy admiration for all things nature, then Seeds of Intention (and the rest of the Hesse Creek series) is definitely for you.

Garrett is a stand up man who faces a serious set back to his future plans at the beginning of Seeds of Intention, but that set back is necessary to put him on the path to Willow and everything that she has to offer.

Willow not only walks into Garrett’s life just in time to see him on one of the worst days, but instantly makes him question what he thought he knew. These two have a touch of fate to them that you love to read in just about any romance, but it is so satisfying in Seeds of Intention.

This story has everything you are looking for when it comes to feel good escapism. You just want to be delighted by a place that feels the peace and tranquility that you can’t find in your every day life. It is full of characters that are loving and complicated people, with hopes and dreams that you are just waiting to see come true.

And for those that read and loved Walland, you get more than a dose of India and Wyatt in this story, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on a little more of their story.

This is one series that you are definitely going to want to own the physical copies of, because the covers are absolutely stunning, and as the photos used are taken by Andrea Thome herself, you know that she has set the mood for her stories exactly right.

I hope we will see more of these characters in future stories from Andrea Thome as this world is full of promising and interesting stories. Thanks to her Goodreads page, we know that the next Hesse Creek book is written and waiting for its 2018 release date, so this is not the end for the family we’ve seen form right before our eyes.

Seeds of Intention is available now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Indiebound. And don’t forget to add it on Goodreads, too!
