Lea Michele is set to appear on Sons of Anarchy tonight. See the message that she tweeted out to all of her fans.
Earlier today the Glee actress tweeted out a reminder to fans saying that her guest starring role on the FX show will be airing tonight.

We previously reported her stint on Sons of Anarchy when she first tweeted about it in July and now the day is finally here. From what we know, Lea will play a character named Gertie who is “an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time.”
We haven’t seen much of Lea in action, but there have been some photos floating around the internet. You can see her and Gemma briefly interact in this week’s promo:
From what little we see of Gertie we can see she looks a bit different from the Rachel Berry we’ve grown accustomed to, sporting no makeup, a waitress uniform and even smoking a cigarette. This role will definitely be a 180 for Lea and we can’t wait to see her bring her acting to a level we’ve never seen before. Apparently she’s pulls it off because executive producer and director Paris Barclay was even reported saying, “We’re trying to find a way to bring her back. Her acting was completely naturalistic.”
If Lea is as impressive as Paris makes her out to be then maybe she has a future in motorcycle gangs after all.
