Yesterday we shared the very first look at Summit’s upcoming book-to-film adaptation Warm Bodies, which is highly anticipated amongst fans and the book community.

Thanks to USA Today, a second and third photo have been released!

The newspaper also spoke to the director about the film’s story:

Hoult’s new role is a zombie named R who falls for Julie, a human (Teresa Palmer from I Am Number Four).

“You can imagine it’s a very complicated relationship,” says director Jonathan Levine. “We’re breaking new ground here.”

Crucial to the believability of any budding undead-human relationship is that Hoult, now 22, has blossomed into a stunning adult, as seen in X-Men: First Class and A Single Man. His looks can kill, even under the most dire makeup.

“By any standards, Nicholas is pretty fantastic,” Levine says. “He’s definitely the Brad Pitt of the zombie world. We wanted to stay true to the zombie tradition and yet make a believable romantic interest.”
