The second trailer for the penultimate Divergent film, Allegiant, has arrived.

The latest preview finds Tris, Four, and the rest of the gang breaking out of Chicago and heading to the Bureau of Genetic Welfare. There, they meet a couple of new characters played by Jeff Daniels and Bill Skarsgård, and learn why Chicago has existed in a bubble all this time. They then decide that these Bureau people, led by David (Jeff Daniels), are not the kind of people they want to hang out with.

You may not recognize much it from the book, and interestingly, this trailer plays to us like there isn’t a fourth installment coming in March 2017 (there is).

Yesterday two new posters for Allegiant depicting Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) debuted online. To us, it looks like they’re standing behind those plastic office chair mats:

Another poster depicting the entire group was also released Friday:

Allegiant arrives in March 2016, and the sequel titled Ascendant arrives one year later.

What do you think of these early looks at ‘Allegiant’?

Where could this series possibly be heading?

“After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago,” reads the film’s synopsis. “For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.”
