Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been added to the cast of Scream Queens.

The announcement of the cast edition came straight from Scream Queens creator himself, Ryan Murphy, via Twitter – as he likes to do. “Happy to announce that PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER has joined the cast of SCREAM QUEENS” he tweeted.

Schwarzengger is added to the list of beautiful and talented actors that includes Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Emma Roberts and of course pop star and all around heart throb, Nick Jonas.

A source revealed to E! Online that Schwarzenegger will play Thad Radwell on Scream Queens, the younger brother of Chad Radwell, Glen Powell’s character in the show.

Given how far along production of the show should be, as well as the fact that the show actually premieres in only a few days, it’s unclear if the announcement of Schwarzenegger should suggest that he won’t be appearing until towards the end of the season. It would be interesting to anticipate his involvement with the plot of the show, which will build as every passing episode airs.

This may be the biggest role for Schwarzenegger to date as he has appeared in the feature films Grown Ups 2 and Stuck In Love. The 21 year old actor has been linked romantically to Miley Cyrus in the past as well.

Scream Queens will have its enormous 2-hour series premiere on Fox on September 22 at 8/7c.
