Pop TV is gearing up to send Schitt’s Creek off in style.

On Thursday (March 12), the beloved comedy took to Twitter to reveal to fans far and wide that the upcoming Schitt’s Creek finale would be followed by an hour-long special.

Titled Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell, the forthcoming special will air at 8:30 p.m. ET on April 7.

A press release announcing the forthcoming special also promises to give fans a glimpse at “wardrobe fittings, the emotional final table read, audition tapes, and more.” And of course, you can also expect to see interviews with the cast and crew of the show– including series stars Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Annie Murphy, and Catherine O’Hara.

Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell will also feature some familiar faces in the way of celebrity superfans– including the likes of Paula Abdul, Will Arnett, Carol Burnett, Cameron Crowe, Tony Hale, Amy Sedaris, Johnny Weir, and more.

In addition to announcing the exciting news, the series also shared a first look at the special, which offers up a fantastic sneak peek of what we can expect.

Shortly after the announcement was made, series creator/star Dan Levy chimed in on the good news via Twitter saying: “Some joyful news: We made a documentary celebrating six years of Schitt’s Creek and, most importantly, the fandom that has lived this show to heights we never dreamed possible. It’s really special and I can’t wait for you all to watch it right after the finale.”

It definitely sounds as though we’re in for quite the treat on finale night!

The final episode of Schitt’s Creek airs on April 7 at 8 p.m. on Pop TV. Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell begins airing at 8:30 p.m. on the same night.
