ABC has released synopses for Scandal season 3, episodes 9 and 10, which preview what’s to come before the show’s extended break.
On Scandal season 3, episode 9, titled “YOLO,” “the team gets closer to the truth, loyalties are tested and relationships are pushed to the limit. Meanwhile, Cyrus has to deal with his own crisis and he realizes that he may have gone too far.” It airs Thursday, December 5.
Meanwhile on episode 10, “A Door Marked Exit,” “now that the truth is out there, things will never be the same and everyone will have to face the consequences of their actions.” It will air Thursday, December 12.
We presume that these two episodes will bring Project Remington to a close after a lengthy investigation by Olivia Pope and Associates. Many revelations have come to light over the past several weeks, including news about Mama Pope, Father Pope, Mellie, and Fitz. Meanwhile, poor Olivia has been stuck trying to accept and handle it all.
Scandal season 3, episode 8 aired last Thursday and was one of the more exciting episodes of the season as we watched Olivia’s mom show her crazy side. Check out our Scandal recap to catch up on the storyline!
Due to Thanksgiving this Thursday, Scandal will take the November 28 time slot off, but return on December 5 for the beginning of their two-part winter finale. Judging by these synopses, things should be left on a high note and we’ll be itching for the mid-season return in 2014.
