ABC has released previews for the next two episodes of Scandal season 3 which resumes on Thursday, February 27.
In the Scandal mid-season 3 premiere next Thursday titled “Ride Sally Ride,” according to the official synopsis, “The White House deals with a bombshell announcement from Sally Langston. Meanwhile, Olivia finds herself in a challenging new role.”
Will this “bombshell” be Sally’s public announcement that she is going to run for President of the United States like she promised? Photos released from the episode only depict Sally working with campaign consultant Leo Bergen. They appear to be chatting and praying on some matters.

The synopsis for episode 12 titled “We Do Not Touch the First Ladies,” which airs on March 6 reads, “Old feelings and jealousies arise at a Presidential event causing Fitz to face a harsh reality. Meanwhile, Quinn tries to prove herself to B613 and Leo Bergen sets up a meeting between Sally and an old friend.”
Photos from this episode depict many more characters than episode 11’s set of stills. We see Olivia meeting with Mellie (the latter of whom is in a particularly nice dress), Fitz working in the Oval Office, the President meeting Jake who’s now the Command of B613, Jake meeting with Quinn, and Olivia working with her team at the office.
