According to a synopsis from ABC, on Scandal season 3, episode 9 titled “YOLO” (how 2012 of them), “the team gets closer to the truth, loyalties are tested and relationships are pushed to the limit. Meanwhile, Cyrus has to deal with his own crisis and he realizes that he may have gone too far.”
The title “YOLO,” which is a reference to the popular phrase “you only live once,” may suggest that some barbaric decisions will be made tonight and characters won’t necessarily think about the consequences.
Judging by this textual preview and episode 8 which aired in November, Cyrus will be a focus point of tonight’s episode as he tries to fix a problem he started.

A recent trailer for the episode raises the bar very high. “Believe us, what happens next is so insane… mind. equals. blown,” says the narrator. Watch:
Since Scandal is not one to spoil surprises, we have to think that Huck licking Quinn (?!) is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what’s ahead.
The show’s “winter finale” is actually a two-part story which stretches between the December 5 and December 12 episodes before Scandal season 3 takes a break until early next year.
