After taking a week off (for no good reason, frankly!), Scandal season 4 resumes this week with episode 19, “I’m Just a Bill.”

It’s been two weeks since the last new episode of Scandal aired, so let’s remind you where we last left off: In episode 18, David decided to move ahead with prosecuting B613 but was thwarted by Jake, who was understandably afraid of Papa Pope’s wrath. Eventually Jake teamed up with Olivia and David when they agreed there’s only one way to move forward, but only as Papa Pope reared his ugly head at his daughter’s door.

A synopsis for Scandal season 4, episode 19 finds Fitz’s new vice president turning against him, and Olivia’s case of the week involving a mayor’s dead wife. B613 is naturally in the mix as well. “With Rowan back in town, the stakes are at an all-time high for the team trying to take down B613,” the synopsis reads. “Meanwhile, Olivia gets a call that the mayor’s wife has been murdered and is asked to take on the case. Back in the White House, Fitz needs help getting a very important bill to pass, but when he looks to the VP for support, she proves that she’s not an easy pushover like everyone once thought.”

A trailer for tonight’s new Scandal offers a little more insight into the fight against B613: Papa Pope and his evil laugh are demanding the case against his organization be shut down within 48 hours — or else Rowan “takes matters into his own hands.”

Several photos depict a lot of activity going on within the Oval Office, and Olivia meeting with Jake. Presumably the two (former) lovers are scheming over how to take down Papa Pope and B613 without Rowan going on another one of his epic tirades:
