A new clip from Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks depicts P.L. Travers (Emma Thompson) in a meeting with Mary Poppins’ song writers.

Richard Sherman (Jason Schwartzman), Don GaDradi (Bradley Whitford), and Robert Sherman (B.J. Novak) perform “Chim Chim Cher-ee” for Ms. Travers, but the author is put off by the made up words. In the clip, we see them quickly hide the song sheet for “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” out of fear that she’ll absolutely despise such a lengthy made up word.

Saving Mr. Banks stars Tom Hanks in the role of Walt Disney as he tries to convince P.L. Travers to let him make a movie out of her Mary Poppins book. The film includes a trip to the real Disneyland. The creator himself Disney personally takes Travers to the theme park to help brighten her up.

The above clip does not include a look at Hanks as Disney, so check out this article where you can watch a clip starring Hanks and Thompson.

“When Walt Disney’s daughters begged him to make a movie of their favorite book, P.L. Travers’ ‘Mary Poppins,’ he made them a promise – one that he didn’t realize would take 20 years to keep. In his quest to obtain the rights, Walt comes up against a curmudgeonly, uncompromising writer who has absolutely no intention of letting her beloved magical nanny get mauled by the Hollywood machine,” reads the synopsis. “But, as the books stop selling and money grows short, Travers reluctantly agrees to go to Los Angeles to hear Disney’s plans for the adaptation.”

Saving Mr. Banks opens in theaters December 20.
