* * *

I do what I want and who I want. I don’t follow anyone’s rules—even my own.
I knew I shouldn’t touch her, but it didn’t stop me.
Didn’t stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third.
My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn’t.
But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I’m nowhere near ready to quit her yet.
I’ll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness.
Hopefully it doesn’t kill us both.

‘Savage Prince’ by Meghan March book review:

Readers be warned, Savage Prince is not for the faint of heart.

It doesn’t seem possible, but somehow Meghan March has made New Orleans seem even more dark, gritty, and naughty with this new addition to the same world that Ruthless King is from. Meghan March brought the same danger, grittiness, and sexiness but she also upped the ante for Temperance Ransom’s story.

The story kicks off right into the heat of things, hooking readers from the very first page. While I won’t give away any details of the storyline, I will let you know that the story takes the dirtiness to another level.

For those that were blushing while reading Ruthless King, prepare yourself for what’s to come in Savage Prince. Temperance finds herself involved in a world that others only whisper about.

Temperance is a different kind of heroine than Keira, in a way that allows this new series to feel fresh and new from the Mount Trilogy.

While Keira was raised by a family that had the means to run their own distillery and hand it down to her, Temperance has had to fight for everything she has. She’s not shocked by the dark streets of New Orleans and has no problem walking the line between good and evil.

As the first book in the Savage Trilogy, Savage Prince sets up a storyline full of danger and mysteries that are just starting to unfold. Readers will be hard pressed to put this one down until they’ve gotten to the very last page of the novel.

And once they do finish, readers will immediately start counting down the days until Iron Princess (Savage Trilogy #2) is released.

For anyone that thinks that Keira and Mount couldn’t be topped, they’ll be pleasantly surprised by Temperance and her anti-hero. I wasn’t sure that this new series would be able to meet my expectations, and yet it exceeded them.

I simply cannot wait until the rest of the series is here and I can dive back into the dark world that Meghan March has made so addicting.

Savage Prince by Meghan March will be released on March 27! Pre-order now from iBooks, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo. And don’t forget to add it on Goodreads!
