Saturday Night Live will take its typical summer hiatus this year, but NBC has just announced what episodes from this past season you can catch over the next few months.
In a press release, NBC announced the lineup of reruns for several weeks this summer:
June 1 Seth McFarlane/Frank Ocean (OAD 9/15/12)
June 8 Vince Vaughn/Miguel (OAD 4/13/13)
June 15 Christina Applegate/Passion Pit (OAD 10/13/12)
June 22 Louis C.K./fun. (OAD 11/3/12)
June 29 Melissa McCarthy/Phoenix (OAD 4/6/13)
July 6 Kevin Hart/Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (OAD 3/2/13)
This season of Saturday Night Live was a hodge podge of hit or miss episodes despite powerhouse hosts and musical guests such as Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kanye West just to name a few.
Season 39 of Saturday Night Live isn’t looking much more promising as Bill Hader and Fred Armisen are no longer with the show, and Seth Meyers leaving at the start of 2014. Jason Sudeikis has also gone on record as saying he doesn’t know for sure whether or not he will be a part of the historical late night comedy show by the time it returns to NBC in the fall.
Either way, it looks like we will have great season 38 episodes to enjoy over the summer months while casting for next season develops.
