There’ll be some new faces among the Saturday Night Live cast when the series returns for season 43!

Deadline reports that Heidi Gardner, Luke Null, and Chris Redd will officially be joining the cast of the long-standing sketch comedy series. The newcomers will all reportedly make their grand debuts on Saturday Night Live beginning with this week’s season premiere. The September 30 episode will feature Ryan Gosling as the host, and Jay Z as the night’s musical guest.

SNL took to Twitter to give Gardner, Null, and Redd a warm welcome on Tuesday (September 26) afternoon.

“Welcome to the cast, Heidi, Luke, and Chris! #SNLPremiere” tweeted the show.

The series paired the announcement with a photo of the SNL stage featuring the names of the new cast members written in bright pink bold letters.

Gardner and Null might be fresh faces, but they’re both seasoned pros when it comes to comedy. Gardner is a Groundlings alumna, while Null has performed at iO in the past. As for Redd, there’s a chance you might have seen him before.

Redd’s past credits include the Andy Samberg led Poster: Never Stop Never Stopping and a regular role on Netflix’s Disjointed.

In addition to announcing three new cast members, we also learned that SNL is adding some fresh voices behind the camera for season 43 as well.

The series has brought on seven new writers to help pen the season: Sam Jay (who was named as a Comic to Watch by Comedy Central), Gary Richardson (Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Spider-Man: Homecoming), Erik Marino (The Hughleys), Andrew Dislikes (who has made rounds at FunFunFun Fest, SXSW, and more), Claire Friedman (The Harvard Lampoon), Steven Castillo (Riot L.A.), and Nimesh Patel (a writer for the 88th Academy Awards).

We’ll be excited to see what all these fresh faces bring to the mix when Saturday Night Live premieres on September 30!
