Last night, ABC’s Scandal star Kerry Washington hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Eminem. Check out some of the highlights from last night’s episode.

Saturday Night Live’s cold open featured Kerry Washington poking fun at the diversity issue on Saturday Night Live. This season, several new cast members were added to the late night comedy show but noticably missing was an African-American female comic. In this cold open from last night’s episode, Washington played Michele Obama, Oprah and Beyonce all in the same sketch while the dialogue mocked the absence of an African-American woman. Jay Pharoah and Kerry Washington were featured in a digital short that parodied the viral video “What Does the Fox Say?” that has been making its rounds on the internet lately. In this version, Washington and Pharoah are dating and highlight the awkwardness of their relationship. Check out the digital short here:

Eminem returned to Saturday Night Live for the first time since 2010. Eminem first appeared on Saturday Night Live way back in 1999. He performed the songs “Berzerk” and “Survival.” Video is not yet available, but we’ll update when they are.

The episode also featured some rather hilarious sketches including an MTV spoof of a dating game show called Date or Diss. In this sketch, three females try to vie for the attention of the guy played by Taran Killam. It turns out they each have some really awkward characteristics. Check out that video below:

We really hope Bitch Apartment becomes a recurring spinoff sketch on Saturday Night Live based on this image alone!

It was announced last week that Lady Gaga will host Saturday Night Live for the first time and will also be the musical guest on the November 16 episode.
