Despite the devastation that has happened over the last several days thanks to Hurricane Sandy, Saturday Night Live will go on as planned with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun.

Louis C.K. has done a few funny promo videos with current cast members Bobby Moynihan and Bill Hader. Check out the promos below:

Recently, Hypable created a Top 10 people who should host Saturday Night Live post, where Louis C.K. was one of the potential hopefuls. Clearly Lorne Michaels is a fan of Hypable, right?

Just today it was announced that Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Renner will be hosting Saturday Night Live in November.

Hurricane Sandy has disrupted nearly every television show that tapes or broadcasts in New York City over the last couple of days. Both late night hosts Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman had to do their shows, including opening monologues, to an absolutely empty audience. You can check out Jimmy Fallon’s monologue here and David Letterman’s here.

Sesame Street character Elmo also eased children in to the devastating news recently as well.

And just with any other major news coverage, there’s always that one guy who seems to create an internet joke out of something simple. This time, a man in a horse mask ran around behind a news reporter as she was covering the upcoming storm.

It’s great to see that Saturday Night Live will push forward despite tragedy and unrest in New York City. Will you be tuning in to Saturday Night Live this weekend when Louis C.K. hosts?
