Princess Aurora is returning to Once Upon a Time in season 4 – both in flashbacks and in Storybrooke!

With the return of Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten) in Once Upon a Time season 4 comes Sarah Bolger’s Sleeping Beauty.

But we don’t have to wait until the second half of the season to see Aurora return – and it won’t just be in flashbacks, either!

Speaking to TV Line, Bolger previews her character’s return to the show, which will already be in episode 7 (titled “The Snow Queen”), which airs November 9.

She suggests we’ll see Aurora in Storybrooke again, “out of her princess gear.” Aurora was last seen in the season 3 finale “There’s No Place Like Home,” standing in the crowd at Granny’s Diner.

But what about her true love Prince Phillip? Julian Morris is currently busy on New Girl, but Bolger is confident that the character will return.

Last we saw Aurora, she had been turned into a flying monkey by Zelena (Rebecca Mader), but luckily she was returned to her human state right before giving birth to her and Phillip’s child.

So far, we know she’s going to be appearing in at least two episodes – here’s hoping for a lot more!

With the return of Aurora, many fans are also hoping to see her companion Mulan (Jamie Chung) reappear. After Aurora and Phillip were reunited, the heartbroken Mulan left to join Robin Hood’s Merry Men – but so far we haven’t seen her with them in Storybrooke, and we’re not sure she was even brought back with the second curse.
