Drew Barrymore’s latest project Santa Clarita Diet is a wild ride that ended in a major cliffhanger, but luckily we’ll get to see what happens next!
Netflix announced the renewal of one of their latest original series, Santa Clarita Diet, with a fun video this morning. Check it out!
Comprised of totally fake and really disgusting body parts, the video is a homage to Santa Clarita Diet‘s first season as it puts together eyeballs and fingers to reveal the number two on a plate.
But it’ll be a while until we get to see Barrymore and her costar Timothy Olyphant try and murder people and keep their family together, the return isn’t slated until 2018.
In Santa Clarita Diet, Joel (Olyphant) and Sheila (Barrymore) are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way.
The show is campy, ridiculous and so much fun to watch — just watch out if you’re squeamish. If you haven’t watched it yet then be sure to check out the first season currently on Netflix!
