Sandra Oh and Awkwafina will soon be playing sisters in a brand new comedy coming down the pipeline at Netflix.

According to Deadline, Emmy Award nominee Sandra Oh and Golden Globe winner Awkwafina have both signed on to star in a brand new comedy currently in development at Netflix.

The project, which doesn’t yet have a title, will find the two stars playing sisters. The film is set to focus on a lonely recluse whose normal life gets disrupted when her train wreck of a sister suddenly comes barreling into it again.

Hellbent on reconnecting, the woman’s sister makes it her mission to help the woman achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a contestant on her favorite gameshow.

Behind the camera, the untitled comedy features a script written by Jen D’Angelo, who is currently working on the script for the Hocus Pocus sequel coming down the pipeline at Disney+.

Producers on the project include Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell. Both Oh and Awkwafina will also serve as producers on the project in addition to starring in it.

Both actresses have been keeping incredibly busy over the course of the past few years following the success of a variety of pages.

Awkwafina, who starred in last year’s critically acclaimed The Farewell, is currently starring in the comedy series, Nora from Queens. The comedic actress also has a slew of projects coming down the pipeline including roles in Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, and Marvel’sShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Meanwhile, Sandra Oh is still riding high on the success of the hit series, Killing Eve. Next year will find the Grey’s Anatomy vet lending her voice to the Amazon original animated series, Invincible..

There’s currently no word on when we can expect to see the untitled sister comedy starring Sandra Oh and Awkwafina hit Netflix.
