Samuel L. Jackson performed Boy Meets World slam poetry on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night, proving once and for all that he’s one of the raddest actors around.

Samuel L. Jackson stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night to promote Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Guests on Fallon often do something amazingly random, but Jackson raised it to another level.

Check out the video of Jackson performing Boy Meets World slam poetry:

In the interview, Fallon asked Jackson if he was a fan of Boy Meets World. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen one episode,” Jackson said, confirming that he wasn’t.

That doesn’t really matter, however, as that poem was equally beautiful in its writing and delivery, so you won’t find us complaining.

Girl Meets World, the Boy sequel series that will see many of its original stars returning, is currently in development.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the reason Jackson was on hand to perform the poem, will hit theaters this Friday April 4. The sequel stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Frank Grillo and Samuel L. Jackson.

Captain America 3 was recently confirmed to be in pre-production, with The Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo signing on to direct the third film with Chris Evans in the lead role of Steve Rogers.

It’s also been confirmed that Captain America 3 will go head to head with Batman Vs Superman when it hits theaters on May 6, 2016.

Marvel President Kevin Feige is normally reluctant to sign directors for Marvel sequels prior to a film hitting theaters, but he’s giving Captain America’s sequel a vote of confidence by moving forward with the third film. The footage is exciting and gives us hope that this will be an excellent Marvel film.
