Everyone’s favorite Scottish highlander is read to tackle comedy in Lionsgate’s upcoming action comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me with Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis.

Deadline reports that Sam Heughan’s first major non-Outlander project since he took on the mantle on the popular Starz drama will be a definite departure. He is in talks to take on the role of the spy in The Spy Who Dumped Me opposite comedic genius Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis.

The story revolves around a pair of best friends, played by Kunis and McKinnon, that discover that one of their ex-boyfriends was a spy. They then become involved in an international conspiracy thanks to said spy, who would be played by Heughan.

The Spy Who Dumped Me will be directed by Susanna Fogel, who’s previous credits include creator of Chasing Life, the short lived ABC Family drama starring Italia Ricci. She also co-wrote the script with David Iserson who has written for Saturday Night Live, New Girl, and Mr. Robot amongst others.
