Woody Allen is eyeing Sally Hawkins (Never Let Me Go) to star in his next film, scheduled to start filming later this year in San Francisco and New York.

Variety’s Jeff Sneider reports:

Allen is eyeing Cate Blanchett for the other lead, a sophisticated woman who has her life together, as Hawkins will be playing a neurotic who’s more fun and rough around the edges. Bradley Cooper is also circling a role in the ensemble.

Longtime producing partner Letty Aronson will produce the film, scheduled to commence filming this summer. Are you interested in seeing this?
