‘The Walking Dead’

Rick: “Starting right now, we have to live in the real world! We have to control who lives here!”

Deanna: “That’s never been more clear to me than it is right now.”

Rick: “Your way is gonna destroy this place! It’s going to get people killed. If you don’t fight, you die. I’m not gonna stand by and—”

Rick is at the end of his rope trying to convince Deanna, and everyone else in Pleasantville… er… the ASZ, that they have seriously underestimated what it takes to survive in this world, and that they better get their heads out of their collective asses before it’s too late. Unfortunately, it’s definitely a case of messenger and message, and Michonne KOs Rick before he gets them all thrown out of the ASZ with the Rickatorship tactics.

‘Girls’

Hannah: “I can’t guarantee perfection, but I can guarantee intrigue.”

Speaking to Caroline and Laird’s new baby girl, Hannah offers the kid an insight into the world she’s just entered. Hannah is almost speaking about Girls in a way as well.

‘Looking’

Patrick: “I just realized I don’t know your stuff.”

A Kevin Costner poster was the least of Patrick’s concerns on this week’s episode. As Patrick and Kevin begin to mingle their belongings, and start a life together, Patrick uncovers much more than Kevin’s love of Field of Dreams.

On page 2: ‘Once Upon A Time,’ ‘Broadchurch,’ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

‘Once Upon A Time’

Hook: “You have no idea how easy it is to fall back into the darkness.”

Regina is not the only one battling her past self for a brighter future. Hook knows all too well how easy it is to slip back into his old habits when he is faced with Ursula falling back on her promise. It is not an easy road for anyone this season.

‘Broadchurch’

D.I. Alec Hardy: “You think you’re just saving the world. You’re just making it harder to live in.”

Alec has had it with the press. This time it’s Oliver who takes the brunt of his wrath. Freedom of the press is one thing, but freedom to hurt people for a salacious headline is another.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Coulson: “You wouldn’t be the first person to have parents with misguided intentions.”

Skye: “Nope, just the first whose crazy dad lured her to an alien city to get earthquake powers!”

Coulson and Skye continued to bond in this week’s episode, when the Director and the benched agent shared some real talk about their fathers’ eccentricities.

On page 3:’The Flash,’ ‘iZombie,’ and ‘Arrow’

‘The Flash’

Joe: “You were acting so weird at the crime scene.”

Barry: “I always act weird.”

Joe: “Okay, weirder!”

After Barry travels back through time inadvertently, he’s advised to keep it to himself. Joe, however, is observant enough to notice that something is going on, and calls him on it.

‘iZombie’

Detective Clive Babineaux: “You gave me 50 shades of psychic and no vital details.”

Clive reacts after Liv describes, in detail, the sexual exploits of the man’s brain she’s eaten, including a description of his lover’s “skin like butter.”

‘Arrow’

Ray: “Nice to meet you. Ray Palmer.”

Diggle: “John Diggle. You hurt her, they’ll never find your body. Nice to meet you!”

Ray comes to Diggle’s wedding as Felicity’s plus-one. When he and Diggle introduce themselves to each other, Diggle threatens Ray not to hurt Felicity. Diggle’s protectiveness of Felicity is highly endearing.

On page 4:’Supernatural,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ and ‘Black Sails’

‘Supernatural’

Rowena: “Again with the Winchesters. Perpetually the Winchesters.”

Rowena’s curse of frustration when she learns Sam and Dean are the two surviving members of the Men of Letters, which makes them obstacles in her still-developing plan, essentially sums up the show.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Miranda Bailey: “We can’t even go to dinner for 50 dollars.”

Edwards runs around the hospital trying to rack up some hours in different specialties and bribes Warren to take his place on an ear reconstruction. When Miranda catches wind of this she sets the record straight telling Edwards what she did was not only wrong, but she grossly underbid for that type of surgery.

‘Black Sails’

Billy Bones: “You hate Flint. I hate Flint. But right now he’s talking about how we survive what comes next, and you’re talking about what you think is yours. When the Navy arrives, they aren’t going to give a fuck what belongs to you, or what belongs to me! Because to them, there is no difference between you and me!”

Charles Vane may have captured Flint’s ship and crew, but Billy Bones, arguably the most seasoned and respected man onboard, lets Vane know that there are far greater things at stake than who controls the ship. Their entire way of life as pirates is threatened, unless they put aside petty differences, and band together.
