Harry Potter‘s Rupert Grint and Game of Thrones’ Sean Bean have signed on to an upcoming Macbeth adaptation titled Enemy of Man.

Bean will have the lead role, while Grint’s spot isn’t yet known.

“Although 400 years old, Shakespeare’s work feels truly contemporary,” said director Vincent Reagan in a statement. “An ambitious childless couple; their longing for family replaced by a chilling pursuit of absolute power. Remaining true to its dark heart, we will strip back the dialogue, crank up the action and produce an atmospheric and blood-soaked chiller.”

Other cast members include Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Jason Flemyng (X-Men: First Class), and James D’Arcy (Cloud Atlas).

Enemy of Man plans to begin shooting this January. Kaleidoscope Film Distribution struck a deal to distribute the film worldwide at the Toronto International Film Festival being held this weekend.
