Ron Weasley actor Rupert Grint took J.K. Rowling and Pottermore’s new Sorting Hat test today and learned he isn’t quite like the character he played in the eight Harry Potter movies.

Speaking at Universal and Warner Brothers’ Harry Potter Celebration event in Orlando, Florida on Friday, the beloved redhead revealed he was sorted into Hufflepuff when he took Pottermore’s new Sorting Hat test. Students of this Hogwarts House are known for their dedication, hard work, kindness, and patience, amongst other redeeming qualities.

But apparently Rupert wasn’t too happy about it. He wants a recount!

This isn’t the first time a Harry Potter actor took the Sorting Hat test and learned they weren’t assigned the same Hogwarts House as the character they portray. Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood, Ravenclaw) was assigned Gryffindor in 2011, and last year Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy, Slytherin) learned that he too is a Gryffindor:

Oh bollocks! x

Rowling wasn’t surprised by the Sorting Hat’s selection for Felton:

Harry Potter author @JK_Rowling has yet to offer a comment on the Ron Weasley actor’s sorting.

Rupert isn’t the only fan who rejects what Hogwarts House they were sorted into by the new Pottermore test. Some fans are being sorted into a different Hogwarts House than the one they were placed in when they took the test on the old Pottermore a couple years ago.
