The members started the second round of the game on Run BTS! episode 80, “007 Operation 2!” Here’s all the funniest moments from the episode.
Running away:
Like we saw at the very end of Run BTS! episode 79, Bangtan started this round by quickly running in all different directions. They didn’t even give the camera directors time to figure out what was going on and it cased utter chaos that was simply hilarious.
Teasing maknaes:
Jimin and Jungkook ended up heading in the same direction at first. Which basically led them to teasing each other when ever one of the spotted a card.
“Why did he leave this?”
“Jimin, why did you leave this behind?”
“Jungkook, why would you drop this?”
Double checking:
Thinking they could have missed cards that were right in front of them, Yoongi heads back to the check up point to scope it out. He looks all over the area but in the end he doesn’t find any cards there.
Nice try Yoongi.
Turn of luck:
Despite his bad luck in the first round, things are looking up for Jimin in the second round. He can’t seem to stop finding cards once he gets on a roll.
All of his pouts are gone and replaced with happy smiles.
Hobi changes his mind:
After finding some more cards, Hoseok goes to play against the game man. But he can’t seem to make up his mind on whether he wants to play them all or not.
Cue the moment where he politely takes a card back from the game man to hold onto it instead.
Jimin’s montage:
While Jimin continues to collect loads of cards in the current game, the Run BTS! editors won’t let us forget about all the bad luck he’s had this season.
Playing a hilarious montage of all the times Jimin lost and had to take penalties this season!!
Moment of no glory:
Despite his best efforts, Namjoon keeps on passing right by cards. He walks right by them, puts his hands near them, and yet still misses them.
Even the camera directors can’t believe it.
Hobi’s lies:
Every time Hoseok comes near another member he can’t seem to try and downplay how well he’s doing. No one really believes him though, especially not Taehyung who knows acting when he sees it.
Namjoon finally gets cards:
Namjoon is so excited to finally find a few cards hidden in a store that he makes sure the camera director gets a good shot of the moment!
It’s both cute and funny at the same time.
Jin hides:
After collecting cards, Jin finds the game man but he doesn’t want the other members to see him playing. So he makes sure to hide away and goes quiet when Yoongi walks by and looks in the store.
Spying:
Since he’s having a hard time finding cards, Yoongi can’t seem to stop himself from spying on the others. Especially when he comes across Taehyung trying to sneakily play some games.
Jimin starts his games:
After collecting a ton of cards, Jimin sits down with one of the game men to play an endless amount of games. And he actually does really well – excitedly turning his cards into hearts.
Yoongi blames the game man:
After finally finding some new cards, Yoongi goes to play some games. And when he loses a few, he blames the game man. Apparently, he’s decided that the one wearing the chicken mask is the easiest to play against?
Game over?
After an announcement was made that they had ten minutes left the boys started to look more frantically for cards. But they’re all confused when not too long later it’s announced that the game is over.
..Only for it to be announced that the game is still on and that they made a mistake. Now they’re all really flustered.
Jimin’s mistake:
All the other members are still playing the game, but Jimin missed the second announcement that the game was actually still on. So while the others are rushing around he’s just chilling at the check up point.
The games not over:
When Hoseok spots Jimin just hanging out, he thinks that Jimin has given up.
Until Jimin asks him in confusion that the game is over, and he has to tell his roommate that it’s actually still on!
Jin tries to make deals:
Jin has a star card in his possession so he tries to make a deal with the other members. First going up to Hoseok to try and get his help. But Hobi isn’t into it.
Next he tried to get Yoongi into it, and his former roomie made him show off the card as proof. But when they run out of time, Jin screams in frustration!
Debating:
Once they’re back at the check in point, Bangtan discusses who they think is in the lead now. Everyone is highly suspicious of Namjoon and Hoseok who were in the lead at the middle of the game. And it doesn’t help that Hoseok keeps getting caught in lies.
They’re basically just hilariously bickering at this point.
Winner revealed:
After much arguing, the staff finally reveals what scores they really have! There’s a lot of shocked faces as they find out some of the people that were losing previously scored a lot in the second round – especially the maknaes.
When Jin is announced to be the winner with 21 points, the others are shocked that he won!!
