The boys are back to a familiar place on Run BTS! episode 73, but this time they’re taking on some acting challenges that prove BTS can’t get through anything without cracking up.

‘Run BTS!’ episode 73 recap:

On today’s episode BTS will get to experience the life of a hero in a drama, it’s a comedy or sitcom centered around a “BTS boarding house” and it will be filled with the seven actors’ ad-libs.

Before the filming begins there will be an acting skills test. The staff roles will also be played by BTS members. Each scene must be filmed within a set time frame. If the time is up when the scene is not finished they have to move onto the next scene.

Of course the boys are curious who will be testing them, they point out that Taehyung has real acting experience and that Jin went to school for it.

The staff gives them famous lines from dramas and the staff will test them that way. Jimin gets Guardian, Jin gets Lovers in Paris, Jungkook gets Kill Me, Heal Me, Tae gets Moon Embracing The Sun, Hobi gets Deep Rooted Tree, Namjoon gets Fight for My Way, and Yoongi gets Boys Over Flowers.

After they learn their dramas the staff plays clips for them so that they can study the lines they are going to be tested on. Of course they can’t help but tease each other while they do this.

Jimin is supposed to go first and he gets nervous before he even starts, and he can’t make it through the lines without laughing. He tries twice before he can finish them.

Jin goes next and barely says anything before he stops saying his heart is racing, on his second try his confidence comes out a little more but the others point out he changed his line.

Jungkook goes next and tries to remember his line again, but he’s the first one who gets through his line without messing up. Taehyung is next and the others are excited to see his acting skills. Of course he does amazingly!

Hobi checks his lines again before starting and then the others burst into laughter when he stands up to do his lines. But he gets a round of applause for his serious acting skills.

Namjoon is next and his lines are cuter then the rest. Yoongi is last and they’re all amazed how well he does even though he complains about the lines.

Now that they’re done with their lines they decide to vote for who will be the director and most of them vote for Taehyung. For the rest of the roles they play a game of ghost leg. Jimin gets standby and timer, Jin gets props, Jungkook gets slate, Namjoon gets mental care, Hobi gets stylist, Yoongi gets snacks.

Bangtan gets some time to study their lines and try them out but it ends up in a lot of laughter of course. They make notes on what props they want and make up their own ad-libs to add in.

After going through it all they realize how tough it’s going to be going through the whole script but they also want to make it realistic and funny.

On the first take Hobi only manages a few moments before laughing and ruining the scene. On the next take, they haven’t even started yet and Yoongi starts to laugh.

Before they start again they say they won’t look at each other so they don’t laugh but it doesn’t work and they don’t even get to any lines before laughing again. Take 4 Namjoon gets one line out before Hobi laughs. Take 5 and it looks like Jungkook is getting tired of having to do the slate so much because of his crazy hyungs.

Next time on Run BTS! we’ll find out if they ever get through all these lines without laughing.
