On Run BTS! episode 59, BTS played hotel games that left us wondering why their staff decided to make them so difficult and confusing!

‘Run BTS!’ episode 59 reaction:

Run BTS! 2019 – episode 59 started off innocently enough with the boys gathered in a hotel room to play a few games. Presumably they’re already on their tour and working hard. So this should be an easily little episode for them, right? WRONG!

The staff explains that they’ll be split up into groups and play games to earn points, the winning team gets a surprise reward. They’re excited to learn that they’re not playing to avoid a penalty this time. So they quickly split up into groups through their favorite decision making tool, rock paper scissors.

RM and Jin are on one team, V and Jimin on another, while Suga, Jungkook, and J-Hope make up the other team. After rearranging themselves they start to debate team names. RM and Jin decide to name themselves team Bba, V and Jimin become team Jji.

Suga decides that their team should be called team Kim Seokjin even though he’s not actually on their team. Of course, Jin is immediately flustered and confused and this is honestly already the best thing about Run BTS! episode 59.

After arguing about the team names a little bit more, and Suga refusing to change theirs, they start to play the first game! “Can you hear my song?” has the boys listening to their own songs mixed up with different sounds and they have to guess the title of the song and the line to get points. The level of difficulty has a factor in the points they get, but seriously they all sound hard to me.

As soon as the first song is played the guys just start making random guesses because they really have no idea what the song is and neither do I. Their faces while they’re listening is just…everything.

Jin ended up guessing the first song right, but he didn’t know the line. So then the guys all take turns trying to come up with the line but they’re all just guessing again. It’s a lot of yelling out their team names and then mumbling lines and laughing at the absurdity. But they’re still adorable and hilarious even with their confusion.

They end up listening to the easier version of the song to try and get the line. Finally, Jimin and V figure out the answer and they all wonder how they didn’t guess the main verse.

Moving onto the second song, Jungkook is able to guess the song pretty quickly. Thanks to Jin saying the answer but accidentally yelling out the wrong team name. So the confusion begins about what Jin’s team name is while RM yells at him.

The third song is hard again and they start to make random guesses. They end up quickly going for the easier version and still have no idea. Jungkook guesses the right song again but doesn’t know the part. Luckily, it’s J-Hopes verse so he’s able to get it right. Meanwhile, Jin is still upset over the team names.

Onto song number 4, V begs to answer the question but Jungkook gets to go first and actually gets the song and verse right. I have no idea how.

Song number 5, Jin actually gets the song right but not the verse. So Jungkook guesses next, gets it right, and gets attacked with happiness from his hyungs.

Song number 6, Jin still can’t get his own team name right. RM can’t believe it. But it gives V the chance to guess and how cute is his little “so show me,” when he guesses the verse. Jimin can’t believe they finally got an answer right because he didn’t even know it.

On a roll now, V also gets song number 7 and everyone else is amazed by how quickly he figures it out. I still don’t know how they’re doing it. Song number 8, is another win for V. Jimin says it all sounds the same to him, and honestly same.

Song number 9 gets a little harder, and they’re all back to guessing. Jungkook gets the song right but not the verse, so Jin gets his revenge and wins the point.

The last song and they all want to win it. Of course they all have no idea on the first play, and then on the second play Jin hilariously yells out the wrong team name again. I will still be hearing him yell “JIN!” for the rest of my day.

He ends up wrong anyways and they have to listen to it again. Suga yells out excitedly thinking he knows the answer, but he’s wrong too. They have to switch to the easier version and they’re still confused. J-Hope is able to randomly guess the song but doesn’t know the verse, so Jin takes the next try and gets it.

After that hot mess, it’s time for the second game “Sing in Korean.” Now they have to listen to their songs and translate the English verses into Korean and they must sing it. Jin is automatically excited that RM is on his team. Suga looks tired already.

The first part is Suga’s from “IDOL” and J-Hope bravely decides to be the first to try. Immediately they’re all laughing at him but at least Suga tries to help. V cutely starts mumbling words before trying for real and they crack up even more.

Jimin and J-Hope can’t handle it and collapse over laughing which is even funnier. It ends up being Suga that’s able to translate the verse first, and then Jin yells at RM for not trying.

On the second song, RM gives it a shot but then forget the lyrics. V takes a turn but accidentally speaks in English so then J-Hope tries but messes up too. On his second try, RM is able to get it and he makes it look way too easy.

When the next one plays, they try to remember the lyrics of the words. Suga tries but then gives up like half way through and makes J-Hope try. Not sure if this is team work or friendly bullying. Sadly, J-Hope gets it right but forgot to say their team name so all that hard work goes to waste.

After a quick and failed attempt from V, Suga goes next and basically just speaks the lyrics instead of singing but it works out for him anyways. Jin is still mad at RM.

Jimin makes his first attempt on the next song, and the poor thing doesn’t get far. Suga tries to get the lyrics right with the help from Jungkook but has a little trouble. Same thing for Jin. They all keep pausing their lines. The golden maknae makes a try and saves the day for them.

Everyone is complaining about their impromptu English lesson and I don’t blame because my head hurts from here.

There’s a lot of trying on the next song again, which makes them all crack up again. RM gets a try and is doing so well until he messes up. Jimin also got close, and then finally J-Hope puts them out of their misery and finishes.

On the next episode of Run BTS! we’ll get to see the rest of this chaotic game playing and find out which team wins. I seriously have no idea who is in the lead right now.
