Robert Downey Jr. is busy! With Iron Man 3 starting production soon and potentially starring in a live-action Pinocchio (helmed by Tim Burton), he continues to stay occupied in Hollywood by hiring Bill Dubuque to write a new draft of The Judge, in which Downey Jr. is set to star.

Deadline got the scoop:

The drama centers on a big-city lawyer who returns home after the death of his mother to learn that his estranged father, a judge, is suspected of murder. He sets out to discover the truth and along the way reconnects with the family he walked away from years before.

Team Downey (Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan) and Warner Bros. will produce. David Dobkin (Friends with Benefits) will direct.
