In typical Lodge fashion, Riverdale is putting family first in season 3.

TV Insider is reporting that in Riverdale season 3, young Hiram Lodge will be played by none other than Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s son, Michael Consuelos! Who better to play the younger version of the character than the son of the actor himself?

Here’s a picture of the father and son pair, together. This is going to be great!

We’ll see young Hiram in a flashback episode of the series, in which KJ Apa and Lili Reinhart will play the young versions of their parents, on the show. We’ll finally get to see some of the skeletons that the parents of Archie and his friends have been hiding in their closets.

Riverdale will return to the CW on October 10.
