The director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson, has shared his early thoughts on Solo: A Star Wars Story.

After seeing the movie at the world premiere on May 11 in Los Angeles, California, Johnson hilariously tried to give his review in the most succinct way possible, via a bad-joke-laden instagram story! Once he muddled through the intricacies of the term, “biz,” he shared some encouraging thoughts about the latest Star Wars anthology film.

He started his review by praising the work of both Donald Glover, as Lando Calrissian, and Alden Ehrenreich, as Han Solo. He assures his followers that the latter is “not doing a Harrison Ford impersonation,” and says his performance is “terrific.” He also spread the love to Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Lando’s droid, L3, saying she “has a few of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars movie!”

On top of Johnson’s work on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, he is also developing an entire new trilogy.
