Infinityglass by Myra McEntire is a heart pounding finale installment to the Hourglass series. McEntire doesn’t hold back on the action and the sassy characters.

Infinityglass picks up shortly after Timepiece ends. The people of the Hourglass are on edge about Jack Landers and still searching for the Infinityglass. The story escalates quickly as it is discovered that the Infintyglass isn’t a thing, but a person. The entire plot moves quickly and you are never sure what will happen next.

Unlike the other Hourglass novels this one is told from two points of view. First, is the ever sassy Hallie. She is a new character to the Hourglass world who holds the key to fixing the time continuum. Hallie has grown up in a completely different world from those in Ivy Springs.

Hallie lives in New Orleans with her father who is less than reputable. In fact, he uses Hallie to steal things. She is quite possibly the sassiest character introduced. Unlike other characters, Hallie is reckless but that is primarily due to her being sheltered. Seeing the story through her eyes is very entertaining.

The second point of view is from Dune, who we know from the other books. Dune is a strong steady character that brings intensity to the story. Dune has a goal: find the Infinityglass. His whole world changes once it is discovered. Dune is sent on a mission that can change everything for himself and the Hourglass but he constantly questions whether or not he is strong enough to fulfill it.

Infinityglass is fast paced and focused on resolving the issue of the time continuum being disrupted. The action-packed conclusion brings back all our favorite characters from the previous novels and gives the reader a satisfying ending.
