Revenge season 4 has been throwing us left and right and we’re not exactly sure we like where Jack’s story is heading.

Last night on Revenge season 4, episode 14, “Kindred,” we were treated to Nolan and Louise’s wedding reception. Nolan did some digging and Louise realized that she wasn’t the one to kill her father. It was her mother who actually killed him and pinned the murder on her own daughter. And here we thought Victoria was a horrible mother.

Victoria had her own issues with a new foe in town named Natalie Waters (Gina Torres of Suits). We loved seeing them together on screen last night and can’t wait for more of their shared screen time.

Margaux is still out for revenge on Emily and she may end up dragging Jack through the mud along with her. All after just rekindling their friendship at the reception! Rude.

Emily seems to be in a good place now (until Margaux gets to her) and she decided not to come out as Amanda and stay Emily Thorne. She may have been a little persuaded to stay Emily because of the ever-handsome Ben Hallisay.

At the end of the episode we see Emily make a late night visit to Ben’s place, and they creep inside while heavily making-out. Of course this happened JUST as Jack was walking up to Ben’s as well. He witnessed their rendezvous.

This brings us to the promo for next week’s episode.

After ALL this time. He sees Emily with his ex-partner and now he gets jealous?

When Jack and Margaux split up is around the same time Emily and Aiden…split up. We’re still hurting about Aiden’s death, so it feels better to say they split, okay?

Since they were both single, that would have been the opportune moment to move on in. Instead, earlier this season Jack hooked up with Kate Taylor. We get that she ended up being the daughter of a huge mob boss that was after David Clarke and everything, but he still had feelings for her! And she only died a few episodes ago, which equals to about a week-ish?

Emily and Ben’s relationship has been brewing for a while now. To put ourselves in Emily’s position, it must be so freeing to finally be in a good place with her father and it doesn’t hurt that Ben knows pretty much everything. Ben is fresh meat in a way.

We get that Jack and Em-Amanda have been friends since childhood, but he probably brings up memories from a time that she wants to finally forget. She wants to stay Emily Thorne, and that’s who Ben met her as. Jack will always see Emily as Amanda, and that’s her past now.

It looks like Emily will need to come to some sort of a decision now. As much as we love Jack, we like where she and Ben are going so far.

Tune in to Revenge season 4, episode 15, “Bait,” this Sunday February 1 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
