Revenge season 4, episode 5, “Repercussions,” just aired. See what happened with our South Hampton residents during tonight’s episode.

Tonight’s episode of Revenge starts off with David putting flowers on Amanda’s grave. Paparazzi are everywhere as David and Victoria discuss Conrad’s death.

Emily puts some good use to her punching bag as Nolan drops the news that Victoria and David visited Amanda’s grave. She’s still upset that Victoria got to David first, but Nolan tries to calm her.

Margaux tells Victoria she wants an exclusive interview with David since “they’re like family,” but she doesn’t budge.

Emily blends in with the paparazzi and others outside the hotel as Victoria and David pull up. A man with a half-moon tattoo on his left hand in a charger then zooms by trying to take David out. He jumps out of the way in time but everyone looks shaken. Inside, David doesn’t really seem to care. He wants to know what happened to Amanda.

Emily and Nolan are arguing about how to go about the David situation, but “Vicky has done a hell of a job Clarke-blocking us.” Emily fears her father thinks she hated him because she never once visited him in jail.

At the precinct, Chief Alvarez tells Jack to head home because of all of the media attention surrounding the Clarke scandal. Ben says that it seems odd that Conrad’s case is on the back burner, but Jack says it’s probably because everyone sees it as justice.

Daniel meets with Louise and she continues to drill him about his mother. Daniel calls his mother a control freak and says, “If you want my mother’s attention, date me.” They go back to Louise’s room and her seduction continues. This is Daniel Grayson we’re talking about, so it easily works.

Emily confronts Charlotte at the hotel and asks for her help in reuniting her with her father. Charlotte doesn’t seem keen on the idea. Emily tells her that the attempt on David’s life was on Victoria’s order but Charlotte dismisses it.

Charlotte goes upstairs and immediately asks Victoria if she was behind the attack and Victoria replies, “I do not threaten the people I love to get what I want.” Umm, what?! Victoria spits more lies about Emily and then David walks in. Charlotte tells him there there is someone he needs to meet.

We all hope she’s talking about Emily but it’ll probably be baby Carl, which is stupid because they’re technically not even related.

Jack and Nolan are at a bar discussing all the chaos. Jack says David thinks his son is his grandchild and what would they even talk about? Nolan is worried about Emily rushing to see David when he’s probably not the man she once knew. Cue that Gotye song.

Margaux is also at the hotel, because everyone is, and she sneakily hands a hotel worker something. Emily sees from afar and takes it from him. She says she expects better from her, but Margaux says she’s just doing her job and asks why Emily is there. Emily really needs a better cover story than, “My best friend died and her dad is up there.” It won’t work for long.

Then Emily gets a text from Charlotte that says, “Come up.” IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?

Emily knocks on the door upstairs and… they cut to Charlotte and David at Jack’s doorstep! Damn you, Revenge writers! Of course Charlotte wants David to meet his “grandson.”

Victoria opens the door to Emily, naturally. She wants to know what Emily plans on telling David. Emily wants him to know the truth, but Victoria doesn’t want his memory of his little girl to be tainted.

News flash: Once he knows what they’ve both done, he may want to go back into hiding.

Jack tries to evade David and Charlotte, but she presses on. She says that Carl has Amanda’s eyes and the piercing look Jack gives Charlotte is priceless.

Ben meets with an unknown man and gets Conrad’s file. He then meets the officer who handled Conrad’s death and asks why he didn’t question Jack Porter. Simple answer, he had a good alibi. Later in the day Chief Alvarez corners Ben and asks for the file back. “Nothing good can come from this.”

David shows up on Nolan’s doorstep. He asks if Nolan gave her the infinity box and money. Nolan tells David he needs to realize that he’s hearing a lot of lies about Amanda. David fears he’s losing his little girl and hugs Nolan in a truly beautiful moment. Maybe the David he once knew isn’t completely lost. Sorry, Gotye.

At the beach house, Jack finds Emily outside. She asks him if he thinks David will hate her for all that she’s done. Jack says parents always love their children just as Nolan shows up and assures them both that David is most worried about losing the memory of his daughter. Sounds promising.

Emily realizes there is now hope. “My father needs Amanda Clarke.”

Emily meets with Margaux to apologize about earlier. Emily gives her a plan but says her name has to stay out of it. We don’t hear the full of it, but Margaux seems happy when she walks up to see Daniel. Daniel is in a mood and pushes Margaux away, but she assures him good things are about to happen.

Once again at the hotel, Jack pays Charlotte a visit. We think a good scolding will do, Jack. He nails it by telling her she’s worse than her mother, she’s her father! Ouch. Charlotte later drunkenly leaves a club with the man with the half-moon tattoo.

David and Victoria are in their room, and he tells her something doesn’t feel right and he doesn’t know who he can trust. Daniel knocks at the door and he wants to apologize to David and gives him the deed to the beach house. Margaux and her camera crew slip in the back for their interview. Smooth move!

Emily and Nolan look down at the interview from Thorne Manor(?) and think of a name for the Margaux-Daniel ‘ship. Dangaux? Maniel? Emily calls them “trouble.” Indeed they are.

Victoria shows up at LeMarchal and scolds Margaux for exploiting David. They end up making a deal to give Margaux exclusive rights to all of David’s PR matters so long as they’re approved by Victoria first.

Louise waits for Daniel in his hotel room and tells him she knows about him and Margaux. Daniel says he wants to keep it strictly professional between the two and she reluctantly agrees. She calls Page 6 the second she leaves the room.

Nolan, Jack and Emily are celebrating David’s return home when they hear music playing from the beach house. David is reminiscing about beach days with his daughter and then realizes he’s been wronged by those he trusted and he swears to get revenge on those who harmed Amanda.
