The stills and synopsis for Revenge season 4, episode 4, “Meteor,” show a very distraught Emily. Will she finally come face to face with her father?

Last week on Revenge, Charlotte witnessed Jack save Emily from the fire that she set ablaze to kill her. Victoria was out scheming for money and caught up with her kids. Daniel wasn’t too pleased to see his mother since she “decided” to skip town after the death of his father and her ex-husband, Conrad.

Charlotte told Victoria that she knows that Emily is her sister and she’s scared that she may come after her since she failed to kill her. Victoria decided to introduce her to her real father, David. David was genuinely happy to meet her and it made us even more excited to see his first interaction with his other daughter.

Victoria told David that Emily is the biggest threat to their family and he decided to pay her a visit at the end of last week’s episode. She was sound asleep and once he saw her face a look of confusion (or recognition?) came over his own. Nolan scared him off before Emily could truly see his identity.

The synopsis for episode 4, “Meteor,” reads: “Emily is shaken to her core by an unexpected revelation as Victoria sinks her claws deeper into David.” It sounds to us as if Victoria is feeding David more lies. Love is certainly blind, isn’t it?

We’re hoping Charlotte feels a bit of guilt and informs her father that her sister, and his daughter, is still alive. Or, better yet, he should visit his old friend Nolan who knows all of his secrets and he should be the one to inform David. David may have been wearing a hoodie when he broke into the house but we feel Nolan should have had a slight recognition as well.

This promo confirms Emily’s revelation that her father is alive.

The stills for “Meteor” seem to be the aftermath of what happened in the precinct. The emotions that Emily – and even Nolan and Jack – must be feeling are indescribable.

Jack’s commanding officer, Ben, is so out of place here. Of course they can’t discuss anything in front of him, like the fact that David Clarke was just sitting in there. Alive.

Revenge season 4, episode 4, “Meteor,” airs this Sunday October 19 at 10 p.m. eastern/pacific.
