Revenge season 4, episode 19, “Exposure,” aired last night. Did this feel like a series finale to anyone else?

Revenge starts off with Nolan, Emily and Jack reminiscing about the past takedowns. Nolan says that Twitter is having a hard time deciding what to call Emily: #Emily or #Amanda. “Emily Thorne no longer exists,” Amanda suddenly says. “The end of an era,” Nolan quips back.

Ben then knocks on the door and is obviously upset. He showed up to ask for an apology and leaves quickly without allowing her to give him a proper one.

Louise is upset that Nolan didn’t come clean about the past. She goes down to the beach where her brother’s body was found and finds the flash drive that he took from Nolan’s computer. She shows Victoria and says that she wants answers.

Victoria hired some computer guy to locate the files on Nolan’s flash drive. While it’s being decrypted, Victoria fills Louise in on Amanda’s doings.

Daddy and daughter Clarke tag-team the lead prosecutor that handled the David Clarke trial. He’s been reaching out to the others that Amanda took down as Emily. They warned him that they’d be after any one of them that reaches out…just as Victoria calls his cell.

Victoria then visits Margaux and wants her help in taking down Amanda. Margaux only wants to focus on Daniel’s vindication instead of the Amanda takedown. Victoria has to remind her of the past with her father and the baby, and then Margaux finally comes clean and admits that Amanda never pushed her. About time!

Nolan warns the Clarkes that Victoria possibly has a lot more information than they originally thought. They deduce that Louise has been with Victoria a lot lately and must have exchanged the information.

Victoria is meeting with the press for her interview that night when Amanda shows up and offers an exclusive with no questions off limits, as long as they never interview Victoria.

Nolan is devastated and is seen throwing away the whale cam into the fire! No! At least Jack arrives to cheer him up a bit.

Amanda’s interview is filled with flashbacks. Flashbacks of the real Emily Thorne and Aiden Mathis. We even get a glimpse of Charlotte! But it’s when Aiden is mentioned that the real Amanda is revealed. She tells Victoria through the camera lens, “Victoria, if you’re watching this, it is in your hands to end this.”

After the interview is finished airing, Nolan tells Jack to go to Amanda. Now is the time because she isn’t busy revenging anymore. Jack thanks him for his kind words but isn’t ready to be shut down again.

Margaux visits Victoria and says that she’ll help to take down Amanda after watching the interview. Victoria says that Amanda has made a grave for Victoria and she can’t be resurrected.

Amanda sits with her father at the beach house and she says, for the first time, she doesn’t know what happens next.

Analysis

Where has this Revenge been all season? The flashbacks were emotional and we can’t believe how young all of our actors looked in season 1.

It’s the end of an era now that Emily Thorne is out of the picture. Amanda seems more comfortable in her own skin now, but what next?

Next week’s promo teases “the final four episodes.” Does this mean season 4 will be the show’s last? It definitely seemed that way from this episode.
