Revenge season 4, episode 14, “Kindred,” just aired! Check out our recap to find out what happened with our favorite South Hampton residents.

Tonight’s episode of Revenge starts with Nolan and Emily chit-chatting away about the wedding and reception. It will, of course, take place at Emily’s.

Ben and Jack are asked to accept a medal of honor from the mayor for taking down Malcolm Black, but Jack is avoiding all attention.

Lyman meets with Louise and claims that he had no idea about the pills. Louise doesn’t believe that she killed her father, but Lyman brought her the police report. He said that their mother is planning on releasing the report to the public during her wedding reception.

David wants Emily to be able to become Amanda again. She seems hesitant about it.

Margaux’s hired help is spreading rumors to her tabloid papers that Emily and David are dating. There were photos taken of them hugging.

Victoria meets with her “friends” at the Beach Club. They’re meeting about a Daniel Grayson foundation that Victoria is starting.

A new meat in town, Natalie Waters (Gina Torres), walks up and says that Victoria took her seat. Victoria pretty much spits in her face without physically doing so and verbally degrades Natalie in front of the woman. Bad move, Vicky.

Louise tells Nolan about the possibility that she killed her father. Nolan is such a sweetheart and says that he’ll look into it further.

Emily visits Margaux, and Margaux spits lies that she wouldn’t publish anymore about Emily. Margaux then has her lackey come in and explains that she needs more proof to show the world that she is indeed Amanda Clarke.

Ben and Emily meet at a bar and she wants his advice on coming out as Amanda. He also brings up Jack’s situation to her and says he’s upset that Jack doesn’t want to be involved in the award ceremony.

Emily thinks of ditching “Emily Thorne” all together and Ben says:

“Don’t let me do that.”
“What?” she replies.
“Imagine a world without Emily Thorne.”

Swoon. Of course they get interrupted by Nolan’s abrupt text.

Natalie shows up at Victoria’s benefit for Daniel. It seems she was the only one to make an appearance. She doesn’t threaten Victoria but she pretty much tells her who’s the new queen in town. Hint: herself.

Jack finds David at the beach house and he doesn’t feel he should be awarded for taking someone’s life. David reminds him that he saved his and Emily’s life and that he’s a hero. Jack says he feels like a liar.

Nolan called Emily over to help Louise retrieve her memory that night. Something she learned from Takeda, we’re sure. It’s basically The Knife Game, or Hand Roulette, as some people call it. The fear causes Louise to flashback to the moment she pushed her dad down the stairs.

And she tells them she didn’t do it!

We didn’t get to see far back enough in the flashback, but it looks like there’s also a possibility that Penelope either forced Louise’s hand or she pushed her husband and blamed her daughter. We have yet to see.

Victoria finds the women at the reception who stood her up at her benefit. She reminds them of the many secrets she has on all of them and if those secrets “accidentally” come spewing out there could be vital consequences.

That may have lit the fire under them to help her with Daniel’s foundation. Later in the evening Victoria and Natalie talk of more secrets. She was impressed at Victoria’s vindictiveness and says Victoria may learn her secrets sooner rather than later.

Gina Torres is amazing and we hope to see much more of her character.

Apparently Louise turned herself into Clairmont Psychiatric because she is nowhere to be found. Emily finds her, though, and gives her Nolan’s wedding gift. It is the REAL police report stating that she DIDN’T push her father down the stairs.

Back at the reception, Louise confronts her mother. She says that she remembers her mother and father fighting because her mother was cheating on her father with Judge Miller — who happens to be her mother’s plus one at this particular event.

Louise continues that Nolan found the real police report and the first police officer on the scene that night kept good notes and remembered that night vividly. Penelope and Judge Miller quickly leave.

Lyman later tells his sister that he knew nothing and he’s sorry. Louise sees through his bull and knows he just wants money for his political campaign so she cuts him off financially — indefinitely.

Outside at the reception Jack and Margaux are making friends, it seems. Jack tells her that he resigned from the police force and he tells her that Daniel died a hero. She thanks him and says he’s the first to say so.

Margaux’s hired help recorded a conversation between Emily and Jack from earlier where he confesses to killing “an FBI agent,” aka Malcolm’s daughter Kate. Margaux doesn’t seem to want to involve Jack in the revenge on Emily, especially because they just had a bonding moment, but her guy convinces her that this is what she needs to do.

Victoria did warn you that “revenge is a dangerous game,” Margaux.

During a sweet father-daughter dance, Emily tells David that she wants to stay Emily Thorne and he says he’s happy about that if she’s happy. She then visits Ben and they start making out and then head indoors just as Jack shows up to witness it.

Jack was on his way to see Ben because Ben had just found out that Jack quit and wanted an explanation since they’re partners.

Does this mean Jack has feelings for Emily again? This is kind of unexpected, and annoying.
