With all of the twists and turns that the first two episodes of the second season of Revenge brought us, we can only expect to keep this ball violently rolling. And the preview video for next week promises just that.

When the last night’s episode finished airing and they cut to the preview of next week, we couldn’t even keep track of everything that was going on. We had to watch it again. And again.

First off, Daniel has learned the truth about his mother. And now he’s not so happy with her return.

“My mom faked her own kidnapping. I despise her.”

Emily has something to do with it. Is she the one who told him the truth? She seems to be manipulating him when she says, “The only way to beat her is to play her game better than she does.”

Conrad is also onto Victoria and her scheming. He tells her, “I don’t trust you.” Did he ever?

Who is Nolan talking to on the phone? He tells someone, “I love it when you’re bossy, it means something hot’s going to happen.”

Is he talking to Emily? Padma? Another person we haven’t met yet?

Um, why is Aiden waking up in what looks like a trash bin? Did Emily get him there? But they seem so close, considering this Revenge preview shows them kissing!

And in classic Revenge fashion, Victoria and Emily are back at each other’s throats. Victoria appears to be concerned about Emily, but Emily knows better. However, Emily knows that Victoria is now “the only person left who can help [her] find [her] mother,” now that the white-haired man is out of the picture.

Aiden seems to know some information about Emily’s mother, though, telling her, “It’s not whether you’ll find her, it’s what you’ll find when you do.”

What does he mean by this?

Cut to a shot of none other than Emily’s mother! It looks like present day, and she seems to be at a motel. Is this where she has been living? Is she still a little crazy? Was she ever?

At the end of the Revenge preview for next week, we get a blurred succession of images – a body on the floor surrounded by blood, and Emily knocking Aiden out.

Who is the bloody body on the floor at Emily’s house? Why does Emily attack Aiden?
