When I started watching Revenge, I liked it. I didn’t start loving it until I met Nolan Ross. He brings humor and charm to a show steeped in vengeance. One thing that’s not so great about him right now is Padma’s involvement in NolCorp. She needs to cut it out.

Padma came onto the scene this season as the intelligent and driven intern-turned-CFO at Nolan’s company, NolCorp. All right, I thought, this girl could be good for Nolan. He needs someone to whip him into shape in a professional sense. If a little romance happens, that might be nice for him, too.

On a side note with Nolan’s love life, people were confused because they thought Nolan was gay since he slept with Tyler last season, but he specifically stated that he falls somewhere in the bisexual range. Sexual orientation is a spectrum, not black and white, and I think Nolan’s character does a great job of exhibiting that on Revenge.

It’s completely normal for him to be with a guy, and it’s also completely normal for him to be with a girl.

Anyway, back to Padma. She has been sticking her nose into places it doesn’t belong, mainly David Clarke’s involvement in NolCorp. Luckily Emily found out about Padma’s snooping before it got too far, and luckily Padma went to Daniel instead of Conrad or another Grayson Global employee.

Daniel is already skeptical enough of his father’s business. Hopefully Emily’s circle – Daniel, Aiden, Nolan, and Ashley – can silence Padma before she makes too big of a deal out of David Clarke’s investments in NolCorp.

She really should have checked with her boss before going through with this little investigation.

Padma can be a valuable resource for Nolan, but she is getting in way over her head. Maybe Emily needs to work a little intimidation on Nolan’s newest CFO. Padma may be book-smart, but she hasn’t had lessons in revenge and deception quite like Emily has.

I’m only looking out for Nolan here. If Padma is causing problems at NolCorp, than she’s causing problems for Nolan. She can be good for him, but it looks like she might be causing more harm than Nolan needs.

What do you think of Padma?
