Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page has found his next starring role Paramount’s Dungeons and Dragons adaptation.

According to Variety, actor Regé-Jean Page is the latest star to join the cast of the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons adaptation coming down the pipeline at Paramount.

Paramount is teaming with Hasbro and eOne to bring the adaptation of Hasbro’s hit roleplaying game to the big screen. An adaptation of the beloved game has been a long time coming in Hollywood, with multiple studios trying at some point or another, to bring an adaptation to the big screen.

Paramount’s Dungeons and Dragons adaptation is wasting no time when it comes to getting all of its ducks in a row on the pre-production front.

Casting for the adaptation, specifically, has been picking up steam over the course of the past few months.

Regé-Jean Page, who stole the hearts of millions with his portrayal of the Duke in Netflix’s Bridgerton, joins a star-studded cast lead by Chris Pine. Others who’ve also joined the cast of the adaptation include Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith.

Behind the camera, the studio has tapped Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley to direct. The duo, who have previously worked together on such titles as Game Night and Spider-Man: Homecoming, will also be teaming to work on the Dungeons and Dragons script, working off of a draft penned by Michael Gilio.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Paramount, Hasbro, and eOne’s Dungeons and Dragons adaptation hit the big screen.
