See what happens in Red Band Society season 1, episode 8 following last week’s shocking reveal!
In the last episode of Red Band Society, Charlie (Griffin Gluck) woke up from his coma. Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) was there with him, as she’d promised to be, after having been reinstated at the hospital.

Before her suspension, Nurse Jackson made Dr. McAndrew (Dave Annable) send for a neurologist, Dr. Naday, who will be arriving this week. Naday will be played by Adrian Lester, and is possibly a love interest for Jackson.
The official synopsis for Red Band Society season 1, episode 8, “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car,” reads, “At the behest of Nurse Jackson, Dr. Naday comes to Ocean Park Hospital, although his approach to treatment has her questioning that decision.”
Last week’s episode also saw Dash (Brian Bradley) pass out and wake up in the dream-hospital. It appears he’ll be back to normal this week, however, as “Emma, Dash and Jordi venture out of the hospital in search of the perfect gift, and Kara learns the truth about Hunter.”
The promotional stills for the episode show Kara (Zoe Levin) and Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse) unwinding with a yoga session in the kids’ playroom, although Brittany is still wearing her scrubs (you’d think she’d want to change, for sanitary reasons?):
Guest stars for this episode include Charlie’s parents Nick (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Mandy (Susan Park). We’ll also see Mandy Moore return as Dr. Grace, and the introduction of Jes Macallan’s character Ashley (Hunter’s sister).
We can surmise that there’ll be another flashback to Jordi’s childhood, as Nicholas Bechtel is reprising his role as the character’s younger self.
