In Red Band Society season 1, episode 7, we find out what Nurse Jackson gave up when she chose to become a nurse!

Red Band Society returns this Wednesday with season 1, episode 7 “Know Thyself.”

In the episode, Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) takes advantage of her suspension from the hospital, and briefly returns to her former passion: singing.

The episode description reads, “Kara (Zoe Levin), Hunter (Daren Kagasoff), Jordi (Nolan Sotillo) and Dash (Brian Bradley) band together in support of Nurse Jackson, whose actions have caught up with her.”

Last episode, Jackson was suspended by Doctor McAndrew (Dave Annable), who discovered that she’d switched out Charlie (Griffin Gluck)’s blood sample.

In the stills for this week, see Nurse Jackson performing at a bar, and it appears that Nurse Kenji (Wilson Cruz) and Nurse Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse) are in the audience:

Meanwhile back at the hospital, “Emma (Ciara Bravo) meets Leo’s friends from home and one Red Bander’s circumstances change dramatically.”

It’ll be nice to have an episode which seems to mainly focus on the adult cast. We’re also glad to see some of the patients showing loyalty towards Nurse Jackson.

The promo shows that we’ll meet someone in Nurse Jackson’s life. A friend, or possibly a sister or a niece? We also see whose Red Bander’s condition changes dramatically:

Poor Dash! Do you think he’ll be alright? It looks like he’ll meet Charlie in the in-between place, anyway. Would you be upset if the show killed him off, or do you think it would add some much-needed gravitas to the story?

‘Red Band Society’ season 1, episode 7, “Know Thyself” airs Wednesday at 9/8c on Fox.
