Next week’s episode of Red Band Society is going to be a dramatic one, with flashbacks to the accident which landed Charlie in a coma.
So far, we haven’t seen much of Charlie (Griffin Gluck) and Dash (Brian Bradley). But in Red Band Society season 1, episode 5, “So Tell Me What You Want,” we’ll spend more time with them, and find out how the former ended up in a coma.
In the pilot episode we met Charlie’s father Nick (Thomas Ian Nicolas), who is posing as a charity musician because he is not allowed to visit his son.

On Wednesday, we’ll see the car crash that injured Charlie, and find out that he only went into his coma after getting to the hospital.
The episode description reads, “The truth about Charlie’s accident comes out, while Nurse Jackson crosses a line in order to keep her promise to him. Then, Jordi is in the driver’s seat as he gets the freedom he wants.”
The promotional pictures reveal a scene between Dash and Kara (Zoe Levin), and we also see Dash (finally) being treated for his cystic fibrosis:
Do you think it’s possible that Kara and Dash will develop a relationship? It seems like they’re the odd ones out of the love triangle, anyway, so why not?
It’ll be great to finally get to see more of Charlie, and to explore Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer)’s feelings about what has happened to him.
